Fabric package Quilt Challenge

Welcome to the EQP Mystery 2025 Quilt Along by Ellen Remeijnse

Of course we can't reveal too much yet, but what is already known is that 12 mini quilts (size doll quilt) have been designed for this year that can be finished separately as a small quilt or pillow or that can be combined (by adding a cute sashing and possibly a border) into a large quilt.

There are many possibilities with these patterns and also many fun techniques!

Instructions for this quilt are written in such a way that you can choose the method (machine or hand sewing) and the unit of measurement (inches or cm) that you like best.

The Quilt Along starts on August 29, but the fun starts earlier. It is possible that Ellen will already share some sneak peaks. So don't wait too long to order the fabrics from the Quiltlokaal.

In the EQP pattern, the 3 options are offered with the links below::

12 doll quilts (size 45 x 60 cm.)
a bed quilt (= 12 doll quilts with sashings and finishing trim, size 223 x 215 cm.)
a large bed quilt (= 12 doll quilts + sashings + border + finishing trim, size 253 x 245 cm.)

In the Facebook group you can find the overview of the materials under 'Files' (file number 1). On page 1 you can see all the fabrics. With these fabrics you can make the following:
- EITHER: the tops of 12 doll quilts and what is left can be used for the finishing piping
- EITHER: the tops of 12 doll quilts and what is left can be used for the squares in the sashings of the bed quilt and the large bed quilt.

For the 2 bed quilts you need extra fabric: ecru for the sashings, a color of your choice (on the diagram that is blue) for the border (only for the large bed quilt), and a color of your choice (on the diagram that is brown) for the finishing piping. The materials for this can be found on page 2 of the same file.

The price is € 295.00 and this is the fabric for the 12 doll quilts.

If you want to make the quilt bigger (option 2), you will need 2.60 meters of extra fabric: extra cost € 60.00.

If you want option 3, you will need 5.15 meters of extra fabric: extra cost € 120.00.
